Amidst 9,000 hectares of managed wooded uplands, goose pasture, crop land, waterways and marshland, vistors have chance to see some of the 200 species of bird that either migrate through the sanctuary or call it home. There are more than eight km of trails in the sanctuary but canoes can also ply the waters. There's a camping site for overnight stays.
